Counter Point presents the culmination of a collaborative workshop and studio by RMIT University’s Schools of Industrial and Interior Design. Working with The Social Studio - a fashion and textiles training organisation for refugee communities, Counter Point presents a participatory installation and retail store: The Social Studio | No Fixed Address.
Situated on the level 1 Lonsdale Street bridge within Melbourne Central, this retail installation challenges the current big-box retail paradigm and invites you to test and experience two peddle powered retail prototypes. Featuring transformable bikes as kiosks, this event opens with gala fashion parade.
